Remote Spain
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Energy and Power team .The practice has been developed to drive accelerated, profitable growth in the broad range of energy transition technologies by developing industry specialism across lines of business. The clients include developers and operators of renewable power assets (wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, hydro, wave & tidal, wind turbine), the power grid and energy storage, alternative fuel production, storage and transportation assets (biofuels, hydrogen, nuclear), and other transition technologies such as heating and cooling networks and carbon capture and storage projects.
Work collaboratively with existing Line of Business engineering teams across Power and Energy(Specialty) to lead a multi-line approach to risk engineering, with a focus / priority on the middle market segment. Conduct site visits and risk surveys of client’s projects and premises, including input into broker reports and risk improvement recommendations.
Create, market and develop value-added risk engineering services for Renewables / Energy clients.
Attend and participate in industry events to represent the client and grow network of industry stakeholders, including presenting, participating on panel discussions and engaging with industry working groups.
Power Generation and operation of onshore wind, solar, battery energy storage systems, power transmission and distribution.
BSc / BEng / MEng in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering.
Extensive knowledge of the Energy and Power sectors with a desire for continuous learning.
