Job summary

Audio Transcription Center is seeking freelance, home-based transcriptionists and translators (Spanish–English) to convert audio, video, or handwritten material into accurate text. Strong editing, research, and deadline discipline are essential.

You will work with diverse content, from historical interviews to webinars, and must adhere to our transcription style guidelines. Ideal candidates are fast typists (≥80 wpm) with excellent language and punctuation skills, and the ability to verify terms

Qualifications

• Bilingual transcriptionists/translators of Spanish and English.
• Fast and accurate typists (minimum of 80 wpm).
• Ability to verify names and terms via brief internet research.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio/video/handwritten material into text with high accuracy.
• Follow transcription style manual and project instructions.
• Deliver completed transcripts by deadline and maintain confidentiality.
