10x Team is seeking a Freelance System Operations Engineer – AI Trainer to review, refine, and train AI models for real-world operational challenges, working remotely in the EU or UK for 8–20 hours per week.

You will bring extensive experience in system operations, SRE/DevOps, and automation to assess AI-generated operational content, develop practical use cases, and provide clear feedback to teams building AI for complex IT systems. This is a flexible, project-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• Seasoned system operations engineer with a proven track record in managing and automating complex IT systems.
• Experience in evaluating and improving operational AI-related workflows.
• Ability to create real-world examples and risk assessments from domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve AI-generated content and recommendations related to system operations, automation, and reliability
• Evaluate technical accuracy and practicality of AI-driven operational scenarios and workflows
• Develop real-world examples, use cases, and risk assessments from your domain experience
• Create scenario variations for different operational roles—engineers, admins, leads
• Identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and overlooked risks in AI outputs, providing actionable feedback
• Directly contribute to the way AI models reason about operations and automation challenges
