CloudLinux's TuxCare team is seeking a Staff Engineer for KernelCare and SecureChain. The role blends deep hands-on software engineering (about 70%) with technical product ownership (about 30%), leading major product components end-to-end and clarifying requirements with stakeholders.

You will design scalable architectures, contribute production code, ensure reliability and security, and communicate progress and risks.

Formación

• Proven experience owning projects end-to-end.
• Hands-on Python development.
• Strong Linux production environment experience.
• Solid system design thinking with hands-on implementation.
• Experience turning broad needs into technical plans and milestones.
• Strong technical product ownership and alignment with business goals.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Excellent communication with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools in planning and coding.

Responsabilidades

• Own major product components and workstreams through full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, sales and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Translate goals into technical plans, milestones, and tasks.
• Design scalable architectures and guide technical decisions.
• Build, review, and maintain production-grade components end-to-end.
• Ensure production reliability, security, and performance.
• Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies clearly.
• Research technologies and market approaches as needed.
• Contribute to engineering quality via design reviews and best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools as part of the workflow.
