Exoscale is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core platform and security components. The role focuses on building scalable Linux-based systems, PKI management, and automated tooling within a distributed team.

Ideal candidates are proficient in Golang, Kubernetes, DNS, and KVM virtualization, with strong automation skills and English communication. Location options include Madrid, Munich, or EU-wide remote work.

Formación

• Proficient in Linux, including networking and security filtering.
• Experience with platform security components and PKI systems.
• Golang expertise is mandatory.
• Familiar with service discovery and DNS at scale.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes a plus).
• Comfortable with KVM virtualization.
• Strong automation and workflow optimization.
• Team players in a distributed environment.
• Curious, autonomous and eager to learn new technologies.
• Strong English communication (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain our core Linux-based platform ecosystem.
• Develop and manage PKI, secrets management, and security systems.
• Contribute to internal platform tooling, automation, and orchestration development.
• Enhance the developer experience with self-service systems and pipelines.
• Play a key role in the architecture and design of Exoscale’s platform systems.
• Improve processes to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.
• Participate in code and change reviews to maintain high development standards.
• Join the on-call rotation after completing a training period.
