SME Careers is seeking a localization professional to review AI-generated content and provide high-quality translations and evaluations. This fully remote hourly contractor role ensures accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to prompt guidelines for Spanish content.

You will assess reasoning quality, identify methodological errors, and produce explanations to improve models. Candidates should have native Spanish, strong English (C1), 5+ years localization experience, and expertise with CAT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications or related field.
• Native or near-native Spanish proficiency with Spain locale conventions.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading/writing).
• 5+ years localization/translation experience.
• Experience applying MQM/LQA concepts to quality decisions.
• Proficiency with CAT tools and QA workflows.
• Excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated responses and language content.
• Evaluate reasoning quality and problem-solving steps.
• Provide expert feedback and model explanations; rate and compare AI outputs.
