Job summary
SME Careers in Spain is seeking an experienced Attorney / Lawyer SME for an hourly, remote contractor role to review AI-generated legal responses and craft expert legal content. You will evaluate reasoning quality, provide precise feedback, and ensure accuracy, clarity, and risk awareness across diverse legal scenarios.
The role focuses on issue spotting, structured analysis, and high-quality drafting, with opportunities to contribute to training materials and model explanations.
Qualifications
- JD/LLB and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of professional experience practicing law.
- Strong ability to perform issue spotting and structured legal analysis.
- Experience in practice areas (commercial, contracts, employment, privacy, IP, etc.).
- Strong research skills locating primary authority and explaining holdings.
- Excellent drafting/editing of contracts, memos, and policies.
- C1 English proficiency; attention to detail; risk awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed prompts and gold-standard legal outputs (issue analyses, drafting examples, checklists, policies, and memos).
- Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness, clarity, defensibility, and risk awareness.
- Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, confidentiality risks, and bias; validate reliability across legal scenarios.
