Mercor seeks a Spanish Linguistic Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will evaluate, edit, and refine Spanish content used in AI research, ensuring linguistic accuracy across translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction.

You will annotate linguistic features and provide actionable feedback to AI researchers to improve LLM performance. Remote collaboration with distributed teams is essential, and you will document findings clearly for model training.

Formación

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish with strong grammar and style.
• Experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in Spanish.
• Deep understanding of Spanish linguistic nuances and regional variations.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors.
• Experience working in distributed, remote teams.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate quality and accuracy of LLM-generated Spanish text across translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction.
• Edit, refine, or rewrite Spanish content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.
• Annotate Spanish text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic features.
• Identify model errors and language gaps; collaborate with AI researchers to improve LLM performance.
• Provide detailed linguistic feedback to guide ongoing model training.
