Astek Iberia busca un Ingeniero de Software con experiencia en IA para liderar la adopción de prácticas de codificación asistida por IA en sus equipos de ingeniería. El rol combina desarrollo práctico, coaching y gobernanza para escalar el uso de IA en software.

Se requieren 5–10 años de experiencia, habilidades en Python y TypeScript/JavaScript, experiencia en herramientas de IA y capacidad para mentorar a equipos.

Formación

• 5–10 años de experiencia en Ingeniería de Software.
• Conocimientos sólidos de Python y TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experiencia con herramientas de IA para codificación (Copilot, LLMs).
• Capacidad de mentoría y coaching técnico.
• Comprensión de CI/CD y prácticas DevOps.
• Inglés fluido.

Responsabilidades

• Definir y estandarizar prácticas para IA en codificación.
• Crear playbooks, bibliotecas de prompts y patrones reutilizables.
• Promover uso responsable de IA con validación humana.
• Colaborar con equipos para construir aplicaciones con IA.
• Revisar e guiar implementaciones hacia producción de calidad.
• Ser coach técnico para ingenieros.
• Evaluar e integrar herramientas como GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE.
• Incorporar IA en el ciclo de desarrollo (IDE, CI/CD, revisiones).
• Desarrollar herramientas internas para escalar la adopción.
• Definir estándares para código generado por IA.

At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer specialized in AI-assisted development to lead the adoption of modern AI coding practices across our engineering teams ¿Posee las habilidades y la experiencia adecuadas para este puesto? Main responsibilities: This is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on development, coaching, and governance, where you will shape how AI is used in software engineering at scale.

• Define and standardize best practices for AI-assisted coding
• Create playbooks, prompt libraries, and reusable patterns
• Promote responsible AI usage with strong human validation
• Partner with teams to build their first AI-assisted applications
• Review and guide implementations to production quality
• Act as a technical coach for engineers
• Evaluate and integrate tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE
• Embed AI into the development lifecycle (IDE, CI/CD, code reviews)
• Develop internal tooling to scale adoption
• Define standards for AI-generated code (testing, security, performance)
• Establish adapted code review processes
• Ensure compliance (security, licensing, data privacy)
• Share best practices and lessons learned across teams

Who are you?

• 5-10 years of experience in Software Engineering
• Strong coding skills (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript or similar)
• Experience building production-grade applications
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Copilot, LLMs, etc.)
• Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM limitations
• Experience mentoring or enabling teams
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Fluent English
• Spanish work permit
