Astek Madrid is seeking an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to shape enterprise AI solutions in a large-scale Retail & eCommerce context. You will lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, and drive MLOps across cloud deployments including Azure OpenAI.

The role requires 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python, and cloud experience, plus English proficiency. You will join a global engineering team delivering cutting-edge AI capabilities with governance and scalability.

Formación

• 5+ years of AI/ML experience in industry.
• Previous experience as Technical Lead or senior AI engineer.
• Strong Python development and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI.
• Solid knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model lifecycle management.
• Degree in CS, Engineering, Math, Telecommunications, or related technical field.
• Professional-level English.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Vector Databases, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Cloud or AI certifications (Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud).

At ASTEK Iberia , we are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to join a leading company in the Retail & eCommerce sector and play a key role in shaping the future of enterprise AI solutions. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on AI expert with strong technical leadership skills who is passionate about building, deploying, and scaling cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions in a large-scale environment. Lead technical decisions and mentor AI Engineers and Data Scientists. Drive MLOps initiatives, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and governance of AI solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead AI Engineer, or similar senior role.
• Advanced Python development skills and solid software engineering foundations.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure , and services such as Azure OpenAI.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model lifecycle management.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional-level English.
