Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript) based in Spain. You will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end and API tests, migrating legacy Java-based tests to Playwright, and leading test automation architecture improvements.

You will also develop load-testing scenarios with k6, evaluate performance metrics, and collaborate across product and development teams to integrate quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

Five+ years in software QA or test automation.
Experience building E2E and API tests with Playwright/TypeScript.
Migration of legacy Java-based tests to modern frameworks.
Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated E2E and API tests using TypeScript and Playwright.
Lead migration of legacy tests from Java/Selenide to Playwright/TypeScript.
Build test automation architecture with fixtures, browser contexts, and parallel execution.
Develop load tests with k6 and analyze performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with product and development teams to integrate QA into CI/CD.
Review code and mentor junior QA engineers.
