Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to define ML direction, build production LLM systems and multi‑agent workflows that shape user experience and monetization.

You will own Python-based model development, transformers, fine-tuning (SFT/LoRA), dataset construction, evaluation, and observability. This remote, full‑time role offers generous vacation, wellness days and training perks.

Qualifications

• Expert Python development for ML systems and tooling.
• Strong background in transformers and LLMs.
• Experience fine-tuning with SFT/LoRA/PEFT.
• Dataset creation, cleaning, deduplication and evaluation.
• Ability to design multi-agent systems and tool use.
• Production deployment and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Set the ML direction and strategic bets aligned to business needs.
• Drive end-to-end LLM post-training and model adaptation.
• Design and build agent harnesses and tool-using systems.
• Shape multi-agent development workflows for speed and quality.
• Create evaluation frameworks and LLM-as-a-judge systems.
• Improve dialogue quality: memory, persona, safety, anti-loop.
• Ship production ML systems affecting UX, retention, monetization.
