Job summary

Frontier Resourcing LTD is seeking an R&D QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in networking, embedded systems, or FPGA-based products. You will develop automated test frameworks and validate Layer 2/3 features across FPGA-based Ethernet switch platforms.

You will design white-box tests, automate verification, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with software, FPGA, and systems engineers to improve product reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA/verification in networking, embedded systems, FPGA, ASIC, switch or router products.
• Experience with white-box testing and test automation concepts.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for networking products and FPGA-based switch solutions.
• Design and execute white-box test cases for Layer 2/3 protocols (VLAN, STP, ERPS, routing, multicast, QoS).
• Create automated topologies and test scenarios to validate protocol behavior, failover, reconvergence and stability.
• Perform performance tests using traffic generators such as TRex, Spirent, or Ixia.
• Investigate issues via log analysis, code review, and protocol tracing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and generate coverage metrics.
