Jobgether SRL is seeking a QA Engineer (Service Desk) based in Spain to combine quality assurance with hands‑on investigation and service desk duties in a fintech environment.

You will analyze APIs, logs, databases, and historical incidents to identify root causes and product behavior, contributing to reliability of payment systems and web applications. This is a remote‑first role with CET hours and international collaboration.

Formación

• 3+ years of manual and semi-automated testing of web applications.
• 2+ years API testing including auth flows, errors, requests/responses.
• Experience testing payment systems and fintech products.
• Experience with responsive design testing and browser tools.
• Proficiency with Postman, Swagger, Chrome DevTools; test management tools.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, sessions, data flows, and SQL basics.
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Attention to detail and strong investigative skills.
• Proactive ownership and clear written/verbal communication.
• Experience in service desk or customer-facing support is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate customer-reported issues from report to resolution.
• Reproduce issues, gather context, identify root causes.
• Analyze logs, API requests/responses, databases, tickets to understand behavior.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and analysts to gather information.
• Own cases and follow up until workaround or fix is found.
• Distinguish defects, config, integration, data, and expected behavior.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing for related areas.
• Produce bug reports with steps, evidence, logs, and impact.
• Maintain knowledge bases and incident history for faster investigations.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest QA/process improvements.
• Provide quality insights across the SDLC and help teams maintain standards.
