Talan, a global IT and consulting group, is seeking a Power BI & Python Web Developer to build interactive dashboards, backend services, and data integrations. The role blends data visualization with web development, API design, and serverless data processing using Python, REST APIs, and AWS Lambda.

This is a 4‑month remote contract with international collaboration on diverse projects, offering a multicultural team and flexible location.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience with Power BI including dashboard development.
• Web development experience with Python including backend development and data processing.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on AWS Lambda for serverless functions.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Proficiency with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and transformation.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps workflows.
• Advanced Git/version control knowledge.
• Understanding of software development best practices and integration.
• Nice to have FastAPI or other Python web frameworks.
• Experience with other AWS services for data integration and processing.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing and deployment pipelines.
• Cloud-based architectures and serverless app development.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including relational databases, REST APIs, and files.
• Develop web applications, backend services, and data processing solutions using Python.
• Design, develop, consume, and maintain REST APIs to enable communication between applications and data sources.
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for serverless processing.
• Process and transform data using Pandas and NumPy for reporting and visualization.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Apply CI/CD practices and version control to ensure code quality and reliable deployments.
