Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced public health advisors to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role is fully remote with flexible 5–20 hours per week and an immediate start.

You will author and refine risk‑communication materials for public agencies, health systems, or NGOs, delivering precise outputs with clear plain language, accessible for lay audiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in public health communications, health journalism, or a public-agency communications role.
• Direct ownership of writing risk‑communication or health‑guidance materials for a public or clinical audience.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows such as outbreak and risk-communication messaging.
• Draft plain-language health guidance and media statements for public audiences.
• Prepare stakeholder briefing materials and reporting on surveillance and reach.
