Job summary

Noodle is seeking a Prompt Systems Engineer to design, test, and improve prompts powering its AI agents across enrollment, learning, and student support. You will work with product managers, educators, and engineers to translate goals into reliable behavior and build evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities include prompt design, architecture for multi-step workflows, and maintaining prompt versioning, with Langfuse monitoring and ongoing improvement. This role is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years designing prompts for production LLM apps.
• Familiar with few-shot, chain-of-thought, and RAG.
• Experience with prompt evaluations and metrics.
• Knowledge of LMS integrations (Moodle, Canvas, Instructure).

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and maintain system prompts and instruction sets for AI agents.
• Translate educational and operational needs into reliable agent behavior.
• Create multi-step and chained workflows, including RAG-based agents.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy prompts and manage versions.
