Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst to analyze and evaluate real‑world security scenarios in a remote, contract-based role. You will work with enterprise datasets, categorize incidents, and help generate training data for AI systems.

This freelance position offers 10–40 hours per week and flexible remote work. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security, familiarity with firewalls, EDR, IAM, and SIEMs, and strong ability to explain

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles
• Familiarity with firewalls, EDR, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise tooling
• Strong understanding of how real organizations deploy and operate security controls
• Ability to clearly explain security issues, root causes, and business impact

Responsibilities

• Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across modern enterprise stacks
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to determine what went wrong and why
• Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data
• Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems
