Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Application Security Analyst (AI Training) to help shape how AI systems understand software risk. You will analyze security scenarios across code, APIs, and system behavior, and classify vulnerabilities like authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic weaknesses.

Remote, hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, offering the chance to contribute to frontier AI research and train AI to assess application risk with clear reasoning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on application security experience.
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10 and production vulnerabilities.
• Able to think like attacker and engineer to reason about exploitability and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security scenarios across code, APIs, and system behavior.
• Classify vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic weaknesses.
• Evaluate secure coding practices and remediation strategies.
• Build security-focused datasets to train AI on risk assessment.
• Explain reasoning clearly distinguishing real exploitability from theoretical risks.
