Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst for a remote contract role to analyze cloud security across AWS, GCP, and Azure and identify risks and failure patterns. You will review IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues and classify gaps by real-world impact.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of production cloud experience and know how to reason about blast radius and business impact. Flexible hours: 10–40 hours per week, remote freelance engagement.

Organization: Alignerr Position: Cloud Security Analyst Type: Contract / Task-Based Compensation: $38–$60 /hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You’ll Do

• Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns


• Review IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues


• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact


• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold

What We’re Looking For
