Job summary

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Team Lead Software Engineer (.NET) to own end-to-end modernization from legacy to microservices. You will partner with Product and Architecture to shape specs, estimate work, and drive architectural decisions for .NET Core services, databases, and frontend integrations.

You will lead delivery, refine Jira processes, and mentor engineers to improve stability and velocity.

Qualifications

Solid .NET engineering background with C#, ASP.NET Core.
Deep understanding of web app architecture, REST APIs, and microservices.
Experience with legacy modernization and monorepo-to-microservices refactoring.
Containerization expertise (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proven experience managing engineering teams and conducting 1-on-1s.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of the monolith-to-microservices modernization end-to-end.
Collaborate with Product and Architecture to review specs and estimate work.
Guide architectural decisions across .NET Core, databases, and frontend integrations.
Improve day-to-day team workflows, Jira tracking, estimation, and QA alignment.
Lead 1-on-1s and drive feedback, career growth, and engagement.
