Jobgether SRL, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in ranking and personalization, based in Spain. You will design, build, and deploy real-time personalization services powering e-commerce discovery for hundreds of millions of users.

Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to improve product relevance via experiments and A/B tests, with cloud experience and an autonomous, proactive mindset in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in applied machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data technologies.
• Experience building production-grade personalization/ranking systems.
• Knowledge of designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Experience with a major public cloud platform is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain real-time ML services for ranking and personalization.
• Enhance personalized shopping experiences using user behavior data.
• Analyze user interactions to build effective models.
• Research and implement personalization approaches to boost value and performance.
• Experiment and run A/B tests to measure impact.
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to improve features.
• Communicate findings and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
• Own problems from investigation to production improvements.
