Lointek Mex Sa seeks an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer for a fully remote role in the hydrocarbons sector. You will design, implement, and maintain control systems and instrumentation for global upstream and midstream operations, working with distributed teams worldwide.

You will have extensive DCS/PLC/SIS experience, familiarity with IECISA standards, and proven ability to coordinate with site teams remotely to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field.
• 8+ years of instrumentation and control engineering experience, preferably in hydrocarbons.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, and SIS platforms.
• Familiarity with industry standards (ISA, IEC).
• Fluent in Spanish and English; strong remote collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and specify instrumentation and control systems for hydrocarbon facilities.
• Develop control strategies, logic, and programming for DCS/PLC systems.
• Configure and commission SIS per IEC 61511 standards.
• Provide remote technical support for instrumentation and control issues.
• Create P&IDs, control narratives, and instrument datasheets.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and site personnel remotely.
