Nuestro cliente, Lointek Mex Sa, busca un Ingeniero de Instrumentación y Control con amplia experiencia para una posición completamente remota. Diseñará, implementará y mantendrá sistemas de control e instrumentación para operaciones globales de upstream y midstream.

El candidato ideal deberá dominar DCS, PLC y SIS, y colaborar con equipos de sitio y grupos de ingeniería a escala mundial para garantizar operaciones seguras y eficientes.

Qualifications

• 8+ años de experiencia en instrumentación y control en la industria de hidrocarburos.
• Conocimiento profundo de DCS, PLC y SIS y plataformas asociadas.
• Capacidad de trabajar de forma remota y colaborar con equipos internacionales.

Responsabilités

• Diseñar y especificar sistemas de instrumentación y control para plantas y instalaciones de hidrocarburos.
• Desarrollar estrategias de control, lógica y programaciones para DCS/PLC.
• Configurar y comisionar SIS conforme a IEC 61511.
• Ofrecer soporte técnico remoto para resolución de problemas de instrumentación y control.
• Desarrollar P&IDs, narrativas de control y datasheets de instrumentos.
• Colaborar con equipos de proyecto, proveedores y sitio para asegurar ejecuciones exitosas.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify instrumentation and control systems for hydrocarbon processing plants and facilities.
• Develop control strategies, logic, and programming for DCS and PLC systems.
• Configure and commission Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) according to relevant standards (e.g., IEC 61511).
• Provide remote technical support for troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation and control issues.
• Develop P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), control narratives, and instrument datasheets.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and site personnel to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee the integration of new control systems and instrumentation with existing infrastructure.
• Stay updated on industry standards, technologies, and best practices in instrumentation and control for the hidrocarburos sector.
• Contribute to the development of functional safety assessments and risk analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, with significant exposure to the hidrocarburos industry.
• In-depth knowledge of DCS (e.g., Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV), PLC (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell), and SIS platforms.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus).
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (ISA, IEC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, international team.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
• Must have a dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet access.
