Job summary

GOLD FIELDS is seeking an experienced Project Lead for process improvement initiatives in an exclusively remote role. You will plan, execute, and finalize projects aimed at enhancing operational performance, reducing costs, and implementing new technologies across industrial sites.

The ideal candidate holds a 6+ year track record in industrial project management, excels in lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and can drive data-driven decisions while coordinating remote teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of project management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Proven experience in process optimization, lean, or Six Sigma projects.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience managing remote teams with collaborative tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of process improvement projects in industrial environments.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.
• Analyze existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for enhancement.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring project objectives are met.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of new technologies and equipment.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure projects comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success and identify lessons learned.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and training sessions for remote teams.
