Job summary

IQVIA in Madrid, Spain is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment (HTA) and market access activities in Germany. The role centers on statistical programming, data analysis, and contributing to AMNOG dossiers.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in biostatistics or data science, with HTA/AMNOG experience, CDISC SDTM/ADaM knowledge, and strong SAS/R skills. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
Initial HTA/AMNOG/HEOR or clinical development experience.
Solid understanding of clinical study designs and endpoints.
Familiarity with German AMNOG, IQWiG methods, or G‑BA procedures is a plus.
Proficient in SAS and strong data analysis capabilities.
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Contribute to development of German AMNOG dossiers with statistical analyses for Module 4.
Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints and subgroup analyses.
Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency, consistency, and reproducibility.
Collaborate with cross functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of generated outcomes.
Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G‑BA, and relevant HTA bodies.
