Job summary

IQVIA in Madrid, Spain is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities. The role is remote/hybrid and centered on statistical programming for German AMNOG dossiers and data analysis.

You should have a Master’s or PhD in biostatistics or data science, strong SAS and R skills, and CDISC SDTM/ADaM experience, plus fluency in German and English. Collaboration with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs and EU-HTA teams is essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research) preferred.
Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards.
Knowledge of German AMNOG, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming analyses for Module 4.
Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; assist interpretation of outputs.
Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA).
Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outcomes.
Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G‑BA, and other HTA bodies.
