Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions, a sponsor-dedicated FSP provider, seeks a Global Study Manager to lead global clinical studies from a home-based setting. You will ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in clinical research, strong ICH-GCP knowledge, and proven vendor management skills. A MSc/PhD is a plus, with a flexible remote, international role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• ≥5 years in clinical research; ≥3 years in global clinical project management.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and GXP practices.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget.
• Experience managing vendors and budgets.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience across all phases of the clinical study lifecycle.
• Experience using AI automation in daily GSM work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, setup, execution, and close-out of global clinical studies.
• Oversee vendors and country teams to ensure smooth study delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Help develop and update study documents (protocols, informed consent forms).
• Manage third-party vendors, contracts and budgets; ensure compliance and inspection readiness.
