Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Study Start Up Associate based in Spain with a home-based setup. You will lead initiation of clinical trials and ensure regulatory compliance to advance innovative therapies.

The role requires a life sciences degree and at least 2 years of clinical research or regulatory affairs experience, with strong organizational and communication skills and a willingness to travel ~5% while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials, including ICH-GCP and local regulatory requirements.
• Experience in study start-up activities and regulatory submissions.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead site start-up and activation activities and deliverables.
• Prepare and submit regulatory documents (CTA, ethics submissions, regulator communications).
• Coordinate approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain records of regulatory submissions and approvals.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices for study start-up.
