Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a Freelance Mechanical CAD & Simulation Engineer to train and evaluate AI agents operating inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks that would take an expert 10–15 hours. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent’s attempts, collaborating with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you create.

This fully remote role lets you work on your own schedule with a laptop and stable internet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CAD modelling experience.
• Active CAD license required.
• Experience prepping geometry for simulation is a plus.
• Strong Python and GitHub familiarity.
• English proficiency at B2 or higher.
