Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a contractor to help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (PhD preferred), several years of CFD with major tools, and solid Python/GitHub proficiency. Remote work with flexible, project-based hours.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field; PhD preferred.
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation, mesh-independence studies and benchmarking.
• Proficiency with Python and GitHub; English at B2 level or above.
• Nice-to-have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background; multiphase flows.
