Edpuzzle, a leading edtech company, seeks a Software Engineer to join the Product Team in Spain. You will contribute across frontend, backend, and mobile, building features that empower teachers to engage students with video content.

You’ll write clean, scalable code, participate in design decisions, and potentially lead technically complex projects. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and delivering high-quality software in a remote-first environment within Spain.

Formación

• 3 to 5 years professional experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development.
• Strong experience in frontend writing complex interactive UIs with React and backend development writing high traffic servers in Node.js
• Excellent ability to communicate ideas to diverse audiences
• Pragmatic with technologies; tech is a tool to solve a product problem
• Product-oriented mindset with user focus in decision making
• Curious, proactive, and able to take initiative to address complex issues
• Fluency in Spanish and English; work in Spain and permit to work there
• Experience with Redux, Express.js, MongoDB, Hexagonal Architecture and DDD

Responsabilidades

• Work with Product and Engineering teams to identify optimal technical solutions.
• Take ownership of problems, research, propose, and implement solutions with teammates' help.
• Communicate effectively to maximize productivity, ownership, and project deadlines.
• Develop pixel-perfect designs following Design team's guidance.
• Write simple, clear, testable code and fix issues.
• Learn Edpuzzle software parts and collaborate with senior teammates.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software; write technical documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
