HCLTech in Spain is seeking a Data Engineer to strengthen our data platforms and deliver enterprise-grade Python solutions. You will design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize data processing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize prototypes while maintaining robust monitoring and CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes clean code, DevOps culture, and reliable data delivery across cloud environments such as Azure.

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade Python solutions.
• Strong background in data engineering including ingestion, preprocessing, cleansing, transformation, validation and enrichment.
• Design and implementation of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Development of reusable frameworks and components for large-scale data processing.
• Optimization of data pipelines for performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Software engineering best practices including clean code, modular design, testing and code reviews.
• Experience with large production datasets and productionizing analytical prototypes.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and software delivery lifecycle.
• Design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment and release processes.
• Experience building and managing Python deployment artifacts, packages and libraries.
• Monitoring, logging, alerting and observability for production services.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or others).
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Focus on scalability, robustness, security and operational excellence.
• Proven end-to-end ownership from development through industrialization, deployment and ongoing support.
