Flanks in Barcelona is seeking a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to design, build, and optimize the data pipelines and backend services that power our data-driven decisions. You will own the full lifecycle of ingestion and transformation, shaping the backend infrastructure that supports our platform.

We value strong Python and/or JavaScript engineering, experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, and proficiency in SQL/NoSQL.

Competenze

• Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript with production-grade code.
• Experience building and operating data pipelines (ETL/ELT) or backend services.
• Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver to production.
• Willing to learn financial data concepts.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data.
• Write clean, high-performance Python code.
• Collaborate on SQL/NoSQL schema design and optimize queries.
• Implement tests and data quality checks.
