Initiate Government Solutions is hiring a remote DB2 System Administrator to maintain DB2 environments on IBM mainframe z/OS in compliance with STIG and SRG guidelines. The role supports DISA mainframe systems and requires strong documentation, upgrade, and migration experience.

Ideal candidates have COOP experience in IBM mainframe ACE, relevant certifications, and the ability to work across time zones. A US work eligibility and security clearance are preferred.

Qualificações

• Five years' experience supporting COOP on IBM mainframe ACE.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: A+ CE, CCNA Security, Network+ CE, SSCP.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and with DISA mainframe environments.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain DB2 environments in compliance with the STIG/SRG and keep software up to date and documented.
• Provide technical services to the customer on DB2 on DISA mainframe systems and report to the COR.
• Install, customize, upgrade and maintain DB2 software on mainframe z/OS; participate in migrations.
• Maintain SOPs and update tickets, change requests, and related documentation.
• Use SMP/E to install and maintain software for IBM Mainframe platforms including z/OS.
• Other duties as assigned.
