Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Creative Writing Evaluators to read, assess, and provide feedback on AI-generated writing. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role with flexible hours and the chance to influence how AI tells stories.

You will evaluate prose across genres for quality, originality, tone, and reader engagement, and provide constructive feedback using rubrics. No formal credentials required—just a love of language and a keen eye for writing that sings.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong love of language and literary quality.
• Excellent command of English grammar, style and voice.
• Able to articulate what works and what doesn't in a piece of writing.
• Comfortable with large volumes of text across genres and tones.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate AI-generated writing across genres.
• Assess quality, originality, tone, coherence, and reader engagement.
• Identify weaknesses such as clichés, awkward phrasing, or inconsistencies.
• Provide structured, rubric-based feedback.
• Rate outputs to help models learn what compelling writing looks like.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
