Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Creative Writing Evaluators to read, assess, and provide feedback on AI-generated writing across fiction, poetry, essays, and more, helping AI systems produce prose that feels human. This fully remote hourly contract role offers 10–40 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

No publishing credentials required, just a love of language and a keen eye for quality. You will work asynchronously, using rubrics to rate outputs and provide constructive feedback to improve future AI

Qualifications

• Strong command of English grammar, style, and voice.
• Ability to articulate what works and what doesn’t in writing.
• Comfort reading and evaluating large volumes of text across genres.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate AI-generated writing across fiction, poetry, essays, and more.
• Assess quality, originality, style, tone, coherence and reader engagement.
• Identify clichés, awkward phrasing, inconsistencies, or flat characterization.
• Provide structured, constructive feedback using rubrics and commentary.
• Rate AI outputs to help models learn what compelling writing looks like.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
