Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Creative Writing Evaluators to read, assess, and provide feedback on AI-generated writing across fiction, poetry, essays, and more. This fully remote, hourly contract invites avid readers and writers to shape how AI tells stories.

You’ll evaluate quality, originality, style, tone, and reader engagement, identify clichés and awkward phrasing, and deliver constructive notes using rubrics. Work asynchronously 10–40 hours per week on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• No published writing credits or formal credentials required; just a love of language.
• Strong command of English language, grammar, style, and voice.
• Ability to articulate what works and what doesn't in a piece.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate AI-generated creative writing across genres—fiction, poetry, essays, and more.
• Assess writing for quality, originality, style, tone, coherence, and reader engagement.
• Identify weaknesses such as clichés, unnatural phrasing, or inconsistent characterization.
• Provide structured, constructive written feedback using rubrics and commentary.
• Rate AI outputs consistently to help models learn what compelling writing looks like.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
