Jobgether is seeking a Community Associate based in Spain to nurture a vibrant open‑source ecosystem. You will craft stories, engage contributors, and help across Discord, social channels, and real‑world meetups, ensuring the community feels welcomed and valued.

Working with the Community Manager, you’ll plan events, coordinate recognition programs, and capture content to amplify impact while upholding privacy, openness, and sustainability in smart home tech.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in community management or related roles.
• Hands-on experience managing Discord communities and events.
• Proven ability to grow social media engagement beyond vanity metrics.
• Experience planning and coordinating online and in-person events.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Familiarity with open‑source communities and Home Assistant is a plus.
• Based in Europe and eligible to work in the region.

Responsabilidades

• Create and share compelling community stories highlighting contributors and projects.
• Engage Discord members, welcome newcomers, and organize events like AMAs or watch parties.
• Manage growth of social media channels with authentic, engaged content.
• Support planning and execution of online and in‑person events and logistics.
• Contribute to contributor recognition initiatives and swag coordination.
• Capture and repurpose community content (videos, recaps, tutorials).
• Collaborate with moderators and cross‑functional teams to keep spaces healthy.
