Job summary

Freudenberg Group seeks a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to implement and enhance the Reliability Action Plan for mechanical seals at customer facilities (Tarragona). You will provide on-site support for assessments, diagnoses, and seal installations.

The role includes conducting maintenance of inspection routes, root-cause analyses to boost MTBR, and documenting findings in contract systems. Fluent English and Spanish are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with pumps, seals, and instrumentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve the Reliability Action Plan for mechanical seals at customer sites (Tarragona).
• Provide on-site support for assessment, diagnosis, and installation of mechanical seals.
• Execute and monitor scheduled inspection routes within the plant.
• Conduct root-cause analyses to improve MTBR of critical equipment.
• Maintain documentation and tracking in contract/management systems.
• Monitor bad actors and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare structured inspection and condition reports.

Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field Proven experience with pumps, mechanical seals, and instrumentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in failure analysis Experience in industrial environments or maintenance operations is an advantage Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken min. TTC 40.000,00 €
