Job summary

Ebury in Madrid is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Regulatory Reporting domain. You will model data, build compliant reports, and deliver accurate submissions to regulators while collaborating with Finance, Compliance and Product teams.

You will work with Looker, Looker Studio, dbt and BigQuery on a modern data stack, automate processes, validate data, and present findings clearly to auditors and stakeholders. Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data/business analytics experience, preferably in Finance or Compliance.
• Advanced SQL skills with ability to read/write queries on complex datasets.
• Experience with modern data stack tools: dbt, BigQuery, Looker, Sigma, Git.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with Python.
• Exposure to Regulatory or Financial Reporting.
• Knowledge of Financial Services or Capital Markets is desirable.
• Ability to present data clearly and succinctly in a useful format.
• Fluency in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Compliance Officers, and the Regulatory Reporting team.
• Model data in our platform to build regulatory and compliance reports.
• Manage reporting processes: requirements gathering, data models, validation checks, and delivering files to regulators.
• Maintain dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using BI tools for stakeholders and auditors.
• Contribute to automation and enhancement of regulatory reporting processes.
