This Position reports to :

Real Estate Manager

Your role and responsibilities :

Establishes and implements real estate strategy and plans to ensure the business has the right premises at the right time and in the right place, to achieve economic operations and maximize the utilization of facilities.

Ensures that an appropriate work environment is provided for all people and production units. The role also involves close collaboration with local consultancies to address country-specific real estate matters and ensure alignment with local market practices. The scope of this role excludes responsibility for the real estate footprint in Sweden.

The role is based within the EMEA region.

The work model for the role is : hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for :
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders to understand future space needs and develop long-term real estate strategies that support business growth.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive real estate master plan, including investment planning, space optimization, and consolidation opportunities.
  • Manage the financial performance of the real estate portfolio, ensuring cost efficiency, profitability, and alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Oversee all real estate investments and ensure adherence to internal governance processes and approval protocols.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all real estate assets and benchmark occupancy costs to drive transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the business to implement sustainable solutions and workplace strategies that reflect modern working models and support corporate ESG goals.
Qualifications for the role :
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Real Estate, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate real estate, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven expertise in negotiating real estate contracts, including leases and purchase / sale agreements.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear financial models and executive-level presentations.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects, including risk and issue tracking across multiple workstreams, and translating technical topics for diverse audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required by the role.
  • Inspiring leader with international perspective; fluent in English (speaking and writing), with additional languages considered a strong asset.
