Oterra is seeking a Europe Regional Demand Planner to shape long-term demand forecasts across Europe, partnering with sales to challenge assumptions and build robust projections. You will lead the monthly regional Demand Reviews, integrate executive constraints, and optimize inventory and OTIF results.

As a key contributor, you will collaborate with regional sales and global supply chain, drive continuous improvement in planning processes, and defend plans with data-driven insights.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Demand Planning, Supply Chain OR equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Professional experience as an Analyst in Sales, Business, or Operations analysis in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Proficient in SAP/IBP, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite system software.
  • Strong skills in forecasting methodologies.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to engage and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Business Analytics and Reporting principles.
  • Strong analytical capability and demonstrated ability to collect data, research, and identify problems.
  • Strong logic skills with common sense approach and good judgment.
  • Ability to utilize data through chart/graphs to tell the story and align key stakeholders from lower levels to C suite

Responsabilidades

  • Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation.
  • Review and articulate historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data and monthly demand review.
  • Understand when statistical models can be leveraged or human intervention required.
  • Ability to develop new item forecasts.
  • Interact with sales, supply chain, and product management teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Utilize a collaborative approach to ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Lead the monthly regional Demand Reviews and attend other required S&OP meetings.
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate metrics, dashboards, reports, and KPIs to ensure accuracy and optimal results
  • Extract and integrate data from multiple sources using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, and IBP.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools for ad hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze data to provide detailed analysis supporting decision-making initiatives.
  • Ability to capture assumptions used and articulate impacts on demand plan.
  • Research, implement, and drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes through collaboration with local SCM and Global DP and IBP Lead.

Join Oterra as our Europe Regional Demand Planner and play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction! We're searching for a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into clear, actionable demand plans.

While this role is offered as a 12-month maternity cover, we see it as a great opportunity to join the business, build your network and experience, and potentially explore other internal opportunities that may become available during or following the assignment.

You'll be the architect of our long-term demand forecast for our Europe regions, partnering closely with our sales team to challenge assumptions and build robust projections. This isn't just about numbers; it's about leading our S&OP demand review process and seamlessly integrating executive-defined constraints to achieve optimal inventory levels and outstanding OTIF results.

Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with diverse teams across regional sales and global supply chain. While you'll report to a global manager, you'll operate with significant autonomy, driving the European demand planning strategy.
