Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a data analytics professional to join the Business Intelligence & Analytics team in Madrid. You will transform business needs into actionable dashboards and analyses, partnering with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to unlock the value of data.

You will develop and maintain dashboards, manage BI projects, and guide regional users on tool adoption, contributing to data-driven decision making across the Services Division. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in data analytics, BI, or related role.
• Experience developing dashboards that support real business decisions.
• Advanced Excel with data models, pivot tables, and analysis techniques.
• Hands-on experience with BI platforms (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into dashboards and analyses.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain BI dashboards for consistency and usability.
• Manage analytics projects from scope to delivery and improvement.
• Understand data sources, structures, and flows across CRM, ERP, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure dashboards are intuitive and accessible with minimal training.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards and data models.
• Participate in governance activities and act as regional BI reference.
• Identify data quality issues and drive improvements.
• Analyze trends across regions and product lines for insights.
• Support ad hoc analyses and deep-dive investigations.
• Guide regional users in adopting BI tools and dashboards.
• Deliver training to increase data literacy and adoption.
• Support leadership with data-driven narratives and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes.
