Astek Iberia is seeking an Optimization Engineer to design, develop, and implement Real-Time Optimization (RTO) applications for process industries. You will build and maintain online process models to ensure reliable performance and help clients optimize operations.

Ideal candidates have degrees in Chemical Engineering or Control Engineering, solid knowledge of process simulations, and strong analytical and communication skills to work with international teams and customers.

Formación

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of industrial process operations and process interactions.
• Experience with process simulation and modeling.
• Knowledge of equipment and systems such as: Distillation columns, Compressors and expanders, Heat-integrated processes, Refinery conversion units.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement Real-Time Optimization (RTO) applications for process industries.
• Build and maintain online process models to ensure high system reliability and performance.
• Analyze plant operations and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Work directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor, helping them maximize value from installed solutions.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on innovative optimization projects across refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries.
