Astek Iberia is seeking an Optimization Engineer to design, develop, and implement Real-Time Optimization (RTO) applications for process industries. You will build and maintain online process models to ensure reliable performance and help clients optimize operations.

Ideal candidates have degrees in Chemical Engineering or Control Engineering, solid knowledge of process simulations, and strong analytical and communication skills to work with international teams and customers.

Formación

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of industrial process operations and process interactions.
• Experience with process simulation and modeling.
• Knowledge of equipment and systems such as: Distillation columns, Compressors and expanders, Heat-integrated processes, Refinery conversion units.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Model Predictive Control (MPC) and process optimization.
• Knowledge of equation-based modeling and optimization solvers (SQP).
• Familiarity with SQL, VBA, OPC communications, TCL scripting, or related technologies.
