Job summary

Flynn and Chase is recruiting for an Associate to join its Madrid-based investment team. The role covers origination, structuring and execution of real assets transactions across Southern and Western Europe, with a lean deal team and rapid responsibility growth.

You will build asset-level financial models, assess development and operating scenarios, and coordinate due diligence with external advisers while supporting deal execution and portfolio monitoring.

Qualifications

• Around 2–4 years of experience in real assets investing or related fields.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills across equity and structured investments.
• Understanding of asset-level value drivers and leverage effects.
• Fluency in English plus two of Spanish, German, Italian, French or Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring and execution of real assets transactions across Southern and Western Europe.
• Build and own financial models: asset-level cash flows, development and operating cases, capital structure.
• Coordinate due diligence with external advisers across legal, tax, technical, commercial and valuation.
• Prepare investment committee materials and discussions with sponsors and partners.
• Asset management and portfolio monitoring after closing, including business plan tracking.
• Work directly alongside partners in a lean deal team with increasing responsibility.
