Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Front-End development experience (Mid-Senior).
• Expertise in React 18+ with hooks, context and custom hooks.
• Strong TypeScript with strict typing; familiarity with interfaces/generics.
• Experience with Electron for desktop apps and REST API consumption with Axios.

Would you be interested in leading the development from scratch of an innovative platform in the medical sector? Oxigent Technologies is recruiting a Frontend Developer (Mid-Senior) to join a team of 5 technical professionals in Barcelona. If selected, your main mission will be to develop new features from scratch for a medical application, actively participate in technical decision-making, ensure code quality, and work directly with the project's different teams.

• Develop products and new features from scratch for a desktop/web application in the medical field.
• Carry out occasional maintenance and evolutionary improvements to the team's code.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy, coordinating smoothly and directly with the UX/UI teams, Product Managers, and the end client.
• Actively join a technical team of 5 people (a role focused on hands-on development, with no tutoring or people management tasks).

• A degree in Computer Engineering, an Advanced Vocational Training qualification in Web Application Development, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• At least 5 years of actual experience in Front-End development (Mid-Senior profile).
• React 18+ (essential): advanced proficiency in Hooks, functional components, Context, and custom hooks.
• Coverage of most of the following technical stack: TypeScript: strict typing (interfaces, generics, avoiding the use of any). Electron: packaging and developing desktop apps. Redux Toolkit: global state management (slices, thunks, selectors). REST API consumption: working with Axios (domain services, interceptors). MUI v5 (Material UI): theming, the sx prop, and components styled with styled. React Router v6: routes and lazy loading. SignalR: consuming real-time events and synchronizing with Redux. Testing: Jest + React Testing Library and HTTP simulation with MSW. i18n & Git: multilingual translations and Git workflow.
• Languages: fluent or native Spanish/Catalan (daily communication) and technical English (documentation). Soft skills: a high degree of autonomy, proactivity, organization, and ease of communication across departments.

Permanent employment through Oxigent on a technologically attractive project with a purpose.

• Competitive salary range: between €40,000 and €42,000 gross per year.
