Job summary

Siemens Mobility S.L.U. is seeking an Engineering Cybersecurity Specialist to protect railway OT and industrial systems across the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate cybersecurity, ensuring secure-by-design signalling solutions while balancing safety, availability, and operational continuity. You’ll contribute to system architecture, define security controls, manage risk analyses, and support verification, validation, and handover activities in a global mobility context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity engineering, OT security, or system engineering for critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of defence‑in‑depth, network segmentation, vulnerability management.
• Ability to balance cybersecurity with safety, lifecycle constraints in rail operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity across project lifecycle and security by design.
• Develop Cybersecurity Management Plan per IEC/ CENELEC guidelines.
• Conduct Threat and Risk Analyses and update throughout projects.
• Define security controls, zones, network segmentation and secure config standards.
• Support verification, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing.
