Alstom seeks an ISM Software Architect to shape software architecture for rail security and digital systems. You will define requirements, drive architecture decisions, and ensure testable, traceable solutions across the development lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary, international teams, contributing to verification, maintenance, and continuous improvement while advancing standardization and reuse in a fast-moving, safety‑critical domain.

Formación

• Proficient software architecture design in an ISM/rail context.
• Experience defining functional, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Proven ability to ensure testable and traceable requirements.
• Excellent communication with international, cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to ISM specifications and architecture with Program Development Managers, Design Authority, and System Engineers
• Define software requirements, including functional, operational, interface, performance, safety, and cybersecurity aspects
• Ensure requirements are testable and traceable across the development lifecycle
• Design software architecture, components, interfaces, and dynamic system behaviour
• Validate technical solutions through simulations and prototypes
• Lead technical decisions: tools, methodologies (e.g., UML), languages, coding standards
• Support integration (software/software and hardware/software) and verification activities
• Contribute to system validation, testing, and long‑term maintenance
• Monitor technology evolution and promote reusable solutions and standardization
• Ensure application of internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement
